Introduction

The Punjab Police Telecommunication Department has announced the latest recruitment drive for Constables, Lady Constables (Wireless Operators), Mechanic Constables, and Driver Constables. Eligibility Criteria

1. Domicile

• Candidates must hold domicile of any district of Punjab.

2. Educational Qualification

• Wireless Operator: Intermediate (FA/FSc) or equivalent qualification.

• Lady Wireless Operator: Intermediate (FA/FSc) or equivalent.

• Mechanic Constable: Matric with diploma/certification in relevant mechanical/technical trade.

• Driver Constable: Matric with valid LTV/HTV driving license.

3. Age Limit

• As per Punjab Police rules (usually 18–22 years for Constables, with relaxation for certain categories as per law).

4. Physical Standards

• Height:

  • Male: Minimum 5’7”

  • Female: Minimum 5’2”

• Chest (Male only): Minimum 33” with 1.5” expansion

• Running Test:

  • Male: 1.6 km in 7 minutes

  • Female: 1.6 km in 10 minutes

5. Technical Requirements

• Driver Constables: Must possess a valid driving license and have practical driving skills.

• Mechanic Constables: Must have proven mechanical and technical expertise.

Selection Procedure

Recruitment will be conducted through the following stages:

1. Application Submission – Complete application form with required documents.

2. Physical Measurement & Running Test – Conducted at district police lines.

3. Written Test – For eligible candidates, covering relevant syllabus.

4. Interview – Final assessment of shortlisted candidates.

5. Medical Examination – Conducted by authorized government hospitals.
