Elementary & Secondary Education Department

1. Male Senior Librarian – 6 Posts – BPS-18 – Age 25–45 – Merit-based

   • Qualification: Ph.D. / M.Phil. / MS / Master’s / BS (Library & Information Sciences) with relevant experience (3–5 years for M.Phil./Master’s holders).

2. Female Senior Librarian – 2 Posts – BPS-18 – Age 25–45 – Merit-based

   • Qualification: Same as Male Senior Librarian.

3. Male Librarian – 65 Posts – BPS-17 – Age 21–35

   • Quotas: General, Minority, Disabled.

   • Qualification: Master’s / BS in Library & Information Sciences.

4. Female Librarian – 14 Posts – BPS-17 – Age 21–35 Khyber Public Service Commission

   • Quotas: General across all zones.

   • Qualification: Master’s / BS in Library & Information Sciences.

    • Qualification: BDS + House Job.

    • Qualification: Master’s / BS in Psychology + 1-year relevant experience.

General Conditions

• Eligibility will be determined as per service rules and KPPSC regulations.

• Only online applications are accepted via the KPPSC website.

• Degrees, experience certificates, and equivalence from HEC must be valid.

• Disabled quota candidates must present a disability certificate.

• Minority quota candidates must present a minority certificate.

• Passing marks for ability tests: 33%.

• Government employees must provide a Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC) when required.

• Call letters for tests/interviews will be uploaded on the KPPSC website only Khyber Public Service Commission .
