Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the PN Cadet term 2026-A, candidates must fulfill the following conditions:

• Gender: Male citizens of Pakistan

• Marital Status: Unmarried

• Age Limit:

  • 16½ to 21 years for civilians

  • 17 to 23 years for service candidates (Armed Forces in uniform)

• Height: Minimum 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm)

• Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must have passed both Matric and F.Sc (or O/A Level) with at least 60% marks.

  • Subjects: Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry / Computer Science / Statistics.

  • Candidates of A-Level must submit an equivalence certificate issued by IBCC.

Selection Procedure

The selection process for PN Cadets is comprehensive and competitive. It includes the following stages:

1. Online Registration: Candidates must register through the official website of the Pakistan Navy.

2. Entrance Test: Computer-based tests in English, Mathematics, Physics, and General Knowledge.

3. Preliminary Medical and Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear at the nearest selection center.

4. ISSB Tests: Final shortlisted candidates will be called for ISSB tests and interviews.

5. Final Medical Examination: Conducted at the Naval Headquarters or designated hospitals.

6. Final Selection: Merit-based selection and approval by Naval Headquarters.
